RossAs the name suggests, the Yewdale Inn provides quality ales and wines and hearty home-cooked meals using seasonal and local produce wherever possible. All our produce is sourced from local suppliers, as listed below. Our Head Chef Ross Bowman together with his team of chefs, works hard to develop menus to cater for every taste, including vegetarians. The Café breakfast menu has a wide selection of breakfast items and serves fresh cakes, sandwiches and light meals every day. The Evening Menu is supplemented by a selection of Specials. Popular favourites are Chef’s Pie of the Week, Flat Iron Steak, Vegetarian Falafel Burger and our legendary Ale-battered Fish and chunky chips.


The Yewdale Inn is operated by arrangement with Star Pubs & Bars, a subsidiary of Heineken. This means we can offer a wide selection of national and international brands including Heineken, Kronenberg, Fosters, Amstel, Bulmers, Strongbow, Symonds, Bulmers and of course a comprehensive range of soft drinks. Much to the delight of Real Ale specialists, we normally have 5 Cask Ales carefully selected from local and regional breweries. Our wine list offers quality wines and port at reasonable prices. The Yewdale is known for keeping an excellent cellar and challenges all customers to sample our ‘Pint Perfection’.
